About

For The Love Of… is born from a longing to share musings on grief and encounters with death. In a lot of western societies, we tend to shy away from the conversation around death, dying and grief, despite the deep need for spaces where we can dive into and share these universal human experiences.

For The Love Of… is a place to put your creations of death, dying and grief, and for them to have a home to be witnessed.

Started by Artist, Writer & Death care worker Samantha Lee Curran. Samantha explores mortality and grief in her own work and continues to question, process, and speak about these themes in her daily life. Through conversations with her community and due to her own experiences and artistic practice, she longed for a home for art around death and grief, and for a place to put it.
